02 / ASSESSMENT
Where necessary, the engine is removed and stripped to inspect the block, bores, pistons, rods, crankshaft, bearings, cylinder head, timing system, oil pump, cooling system and related components.
03 / REBUILD
Following inspection and agreement on the work, the engine is machined and rebuilt using the components required for its condition. This may include oversized pistons, replacement bearings, piston rings, head reconditioning, timing components, pumps, gaskets and seals.
04 / REFIT & TEST
The engine is reinstalled, fluids are replenished and initial running checks, diagnostics and road testing are completed as appropriate. Progress updates are provided during the job.
Qualifying rebuilds include a written warranty. Coverage depends on the work undertaken and the applicable terms, including running-in and servicing requirements. Full details are supplied with qualifying completed repairs. Nothing in this listing affects applicable statutory rights.
