Grading Definitions
  • GEM-MT 10: Perfect centering (60/40 or better), sharp focus, sharp corners.
  • MINT 9: 60/40 or better centering, sharp eye appeal, very minor flaws on close inspection.
  • NM-MT+ 8.5: 65/35 or better centering, slight or minor flaws.
  • NM-MT 8: 70/30 or better centering, sharp to the eye, slight wear under scrutiny.
  • NM 7 - NM+ 7.5: 70/30 or better centering, minor edge/corner wear or surface spots.
  • EX-NM 6 - 6.5: 75/25 or better centering, light corner softening, light centering issues.
  • EX 5 - 5.5: 80/20 or better centering, rounded corners, minor surface creases or wear.
  • VG-EX 4 - 4.5: 85/15 or better centering, noticeable surface wear or light creases.
  • VG 3 - 3.5: 90/10 or better centering, stronger creasing, rounded corners.
  • Good/Fair 1 - 2.5: Heavily worn, multiple creases, obvious defects, or minor missing portions.
