If you are in the market for an everyday lens that does things a little differently, look no further than the FUJINON XF 27 mm F2.8 R WR. With a 27 mm focal length, this prime lens provides a natural field of view similar to the human eye. What this means is that it can perform to a high-standard when used in portraiture, street, and landscape photography. It's also incredibly thin, fitting the characteristics of a "pancake-style" prime lens. Don't be fooled by its size though, this lens is built-up of seven lens elements to deliver advanced image resolution (even at widest apertures). It's weather-resistant and incredibly portable - a 27 mm lens that you can really rely on. When planning for your next Fujifilm urban adventure or historic hike, don't hesitate to pack the FUJINON XF 27 mm F2.8 R WR. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Expanded Fujifilm XF 27mm F2.8 R WR Key Features:
Newly Adapted Aperture Ring
The Fujifilm XF 27mm F2.8 R WR now includes an aperture ring with F-stop scale. This allows you to adjust aperture settings without having to take time looking at the camera's screen, or through the viewfinder. The A (Auto) Position Lock enables you to lock the lens into the A-Position to minimise accidental adjustments to the lens aperture whilst in use - Rotating the aperture ring from the A-Position to f16 whilst holding down the ‘Lock Release' button disengages the lock. This additional feature is perfect when you want to focus on o
An Everyday Staple
This Fujinon lens performs well in a variety of situations, with its weather-resistant construction protecting against water-damage and dust when shooting on-the-go. The inclusion of a standard lens cap, as well as tailor-made lens hood and hood cap, provides additional protection - Improving work-flow for those who prefer the convenience of a low-profile hood. The key to this prime lens's small stature is the fact that the diameter of the image circle needed to cover an APS-C sensor (28.4mm) is near-identical in dimension to the Fuji 27 mm F2.8's focal length. This means that Fujifilm has been able to construct a compact lens that is capable of producing such high-quality imagery.
Powerful Prime Lens
Once again, do not be fooled by the size of this 27 mm lens. It consists of seven lens elements in five groups to deliver incredible image resolution every time you take a snap. One of these key elements is aspherical, used to mitigate spherical aberration (mainly occurs when shooting close-ups or when the subject is at a substantial distance), field curvature, and distortion. The high-torque DC motor enables fast and accurate Auto-Focus, great for moving-image capture and quick-fire shooting. When you have an assignment requiring minimal gear, the lightweight XF 27mm F2.8 R WR stands as the perfect candidate - One of the thinnest and lightest XF lenses in the extended collection.you.
