What a nice example of an antique narcotic medicine bottle. You will see 99 clear glass examples for every amber colored example of this bottle, it is quite rare in this AMBER COLOR! The label plainly reads Cocaine, "COCAINE HYDROCHLORATE", with parenthesis under this that enumerate on this by reading "(Cocaine Muriate)" and includes "(PURE) 4 Percent". It goes on to say that this apothecary shop is in the 'MASONIC TEMPLE' of old 'MEMPHIS' TENNESSEE. There are many paper labels from this old Robinson Apothecary shop, Memphis, Tenn., on the market today. People are putting these Cocaine labels on plain unembossed bottles, new and old bottles, of all types, and this label is not original to the particular bottle. At least this one is on the correct bottle as the label and the bottle are from the same company, check it out!
