Bound in full panelled calf with six raised bands to spine. Large  work, measuring approx. 35.6cm x 23cm x 5.3cm. As can be seen from the photos the front and rear boards are cracked to spine edges and hanging on by the threads. Leather is scuffed and rubbed, with chipped and wormed patches with loss (see photos). Spine cracking/splitting , and worn and title label lacking. Internally the endpapers are tatty/creased, front endpaper detached, and front endpaper and blank have large chip to top. Ink detail to front endpaper and large ink workings to inside rear board, and inscription to rear endpaper verso. Pale toning, dustiness and scattered foxing (see photos). Straining in places, although majority of leaves remain firm. Occasional marks and some creases, else in very readable condition for age.

  • We offer FREE UK domestic shipping, fully tracked and insured.
  • We use several services for overseas shipping, under 5kg usually shipped via Royal Mail Tracked. Heavier shipments or faster courier services are available, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred method.
  • We combine shipping for multiple items (Please wait to be invoiced for multiple purchases for accurate costings).
  • We will also gladly hold purchased items to allow for larger combined shipments, (Please let us know before payment).

Packaging
All our books will be carefully and securely packaged in custom made book boxes (The majority of which are produced Carbon Neutral). The Bubble packaging and boxes are all recyclable, and most tape used is environmentally friendly (we are constantly researching ways to reduce our environmental impact without compromising safe, secure and affordable shipping). We aim to send all items within 24-48 hours of payment.
