Original vintage promotional dime-saving folder issued by The Home Savings and Loan Company, established 1888, with its main office shown at 16 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio.

The back advertises four Ohio offices:

Norwalk – 16 East Main Street

Sandusky – 924 East Perkins Ave.

New London – 53½ Park Ave.

Milan – 50 Front Street

The folder was designed to encourage saving one dime at a time, beginning at 10¢ and continuing through $3.00.

This example is complete with all 30 Roosevelt dimes still in the folder, totaling $3.00 face value. The coins have been checked and date from 1965 through 1975. There are no 1964-or-earlier silver dimes included.

The folder shows vintage age and handling wear, including toning/discoloration, creasing and other surface wear. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they are part of the condition description.

An interesting piece of Norwalk, Huron County and northern Ohio banking history, as well as a vintage coin-saving and advertising collectible.
