On The Road With Bob Hope and Bing Crosby — 4 Movie Franchise Collection (DVD, 2004)

Bob Hope and Bing Crosby made seven "Road to..." pictures together between 1940 and 1962, and this Universal Franchise Collection gathers four of the earliest and best-loved: Road to Singapore, Road to Zanzibar, Road to Morocco, and Road to Utopia. Dorothy Lamour co-stars in all four as the love interest the two friends bicker over, and the films are famous for breaking the fourth wall with running gags, ad-libs, and Hope's asides straight to the audience — a style that was ahead of its time for 1940s comedy. Great pickup for classic film or Bob Hope/Bing Crosby collectors.
