Here is a well-played and highly desirable 1995 Guild DV-52 NT HG acoustic guitar, made in Guild’s legendary Westerly, Rhode Island, USA factory. The model and serial number are visible on the original interior label:

The DV-52 was Guild’s vintage-inspired rosewood dreadnought, built with premium materials and designed to deliver the strong projection, full bass response and clear highs for which American-made Guild acoustics are known.

Features include:

Condition

We are conservatively listing this guitar in Fair vintage condition.

The guitar has extensive lacquer checking throughout the finish, along with scratches, marks and other visible evidence of age and use. Most importantly, there are repaired areas on both sides of the soundhole where the neck and fingerboard meet the body. These repairs and the surrounding finish wear are clearly shown in the photographs and should be carefully reviewed before purchasing.

The instrument also shows wear around the soundhole and bridge area, but it retains an attractive natural top, beautifully figured rosewood back and sides, gold hardware and the unmistakable appearance of a Westerly-built Guild.

This is not being represented as a collector-grade or cosmetically pristine instrument. It is a genuine American-made Guild with substantial vintage character and previous structural repair. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description and show the actual guitar and case you will receive.

For the player who values the tone, materials and craftsmanship of a USA-made Guild more than perfect cosmetics, this DV-52 represents an opportunity to own a high-quality rosewood dreadnought at a considerably lower price than a cleaner example.
