Up for auction or sale is an extraordinarily complete, collector-grade Lionel Postwar No. 114 Newsstand with Horn accessory set. Finding this 1950s postwar building layout in its original box with every single factory-issued ancillary component completely intact is incredibly rare. This set is in spectacular New Old Stock (NOS) / New In Box (NIB) condition, showing absolute minimal handling, clean plastics, and zero signs of layout track runtime or wear.

Component Breakdowns:

The Newsstand Building: Features a vibrant yellow molded plastic structure sitting atop a clean, tiered dark brown staircase platform base. The square, faux-shingle silver roof is perfectly flat, completely unwarped, and structurally flawless.

The Graphics & Decals: Includes a brilliant, well-adhered "Lionel Trains" billboard starring the iconic Lionel Lion mascot on the storefront, and a beautifully preserved "Airex Spinning Tackle" fishing billboard on the reverse side. The interior graphic card inserts—depicting a newspaper salesman at the counter and detailed storefront magazine displays—remain perfectly flat, vivid, and entirely free of moisture staining, fading, or edge peeling.

The Internal Mechanism: The internal assembly features a clean, untouched layout with the original miniature bayonet light bulb, intact wiring, and the mechanical vibrating horn/buzzer mechanism.

The Underside Base: The bottom of the tiered brown plastic base retains its crisp, unrubbed factory stamping: "NO. 114 NEWS STAND WITH HORN THE LIONEL CORPORATION NEW YORK MADE IN U.S. OF AMERICA". The metal terminal clips are shiny with zero oxidation, and the original soft yellow foam/felt feet pads are entirely intact.

Complete Factory Accessories:

Original Seated Figure (commuter/policeman in blue uniform) designed to rest on the station bench—a piece that is frequently missing from most loose sets.

Original No. 90 Push-Button Controller with a crisp red button and clean terminal screw caps.

Four separate bundles of factory-coiled green hookup wires.

Original Instruction Booklet & Envelopes cleanly folded with beautiful vintage typography.

Original Box: The original cardboard storage box features sharp edges, zero structural crushing, tight internal flaps, and bold, unfaded dual-tone classic blue and orange typography.
