EARLY CIVIL WAR IMAGERY

General Thomas STONEWALL Jackson GEM CDV

Jackson is wearing his FEDERAL UNIFORM from when he taught at the VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE. This Early Portrait of Jackson was widely Circulated, both North and South after the BATTLE OF BULL RUN/MANASSAS in 1861.

The Unique Imagery is CLEAR and Highly Detailed,  encased in a beautifully Embossed Paper Sleeve with Laurels surrounding his Portrait. There is minor age soiling. The borders are straight and the corners are sharp and intact. The Overall EYE APPEAL is EXCELLENT.

There is no Gallery Backing which is common with early Confederate pieces.
