Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 FQ-360 No.83 | 84k Miles | Flame Red | Rare UK Car

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX FQ-360 – No.83 – 84,000 Miles

A rare opportunity to acquire a genuine UK-market Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX FQ-360, individually numbered No.83 and finished in the iconic Flame Red.

Having covered just 84,000 miles, this is a very special example of one of the most desirable UK Evo IX derivatives.

Powered by the legendary 2.0-litre 4G63 MIVEC turbocharged engine, the FQ-360 was developed specifically for the UK market and produced approximately 366 bhp when new.

Specification & highlights include:

A fantastic looking example with huge road presence and all the character you’d expect from an Evo IX. The combination of the FQ-360 specification, No.83 identification, 84k mileage and Flame Red finish makes this a particularly interesting car for an enthusiast.

Took this in px against a JDM Subaru earlier on this year in may with the intention of keeping it & thought it would look well next to the rest of the Subaru's. However I need to make space for newer stuff coming. Took this in as HKS however after showing it to certain specialist its just a normal UK FQ 360. Am not a evo expert Subaru yes but evos no. Just has HKS mods. Iv used it a few times over the summer & it drives really well.

Overall a nice example of a very desirable modern classic very highly sought after in this colour & model. Good miles for the age most are over 100k by now. I wouldn’t say it’s an absolute garage queen showroom example however that’s just me being super picky. Gets compliments where ever it goes. The rear bushes are making a noise when going over a speed bump one headlight lug has previously been repaired as it broke taking the front bumper off. Rear shark roof fin in carbon is starting to peel due to heat could do with lacquering or maybe wrap. Few age related marks But overall a lovely example still of a rare car now not many left at all. Again Iv described it as honestly as possible maybe even over described it. But it gives you more clarity on the car which most sellers these days tend to hide or overlook. Underneath it’s solid no soft rust patches etc surface rust but nothing of major concern am more use to bringing over jap cars so am use to seeing brand new underneath on old cars for a UK car it is very presentable underneath not hidden away by underseal etc. I wouldn’t have took it in if it was lemon.

Please no time-wasters silly offers etc no group viewings payment via bank transfer No test drives unless proof of insurance & funds has been shown. Iv been offered a value on it against a BMW 1M which I quite fancy however just seen what it does or can achieve on here. If it doesn’t do well il just go ahead with the 1M.
