The Citizen Attesa ATD53-3013 is the Jetsetter Direct Flight 2009 Limited Edition, produced in a numbered run of only 1,500 pieces worldwide, with the individual serial engraved on the caseback. It commemorated the debut of Citizen's Direct Flight mechanism, a disc-type city selection system that lets travelers switch time zones with a simple crown operation. The design pairs a jet-black Duratect-hardened titanium case and bracelet with a warm rose gold-tone bezel and matching rose gold indexes over a black multi-layer dial, a striking two-tone combination unique to this limited edition. The set includes the dedicated collector's presentation box with a gold "ATTESA JETSETTER DIRECT FLIGHT 2009 LIMITED EDITION" plaque. Made in Japan.
[Movement & Technology]
Powered by Citizen Caliber H610, an Eco-Drive solar-powered radio-controlled movement that receives standard time signals in four areas worldwide (Japan, USA, Europe, and China) and never needs a battery change. The case and bracelet are super-titanium: lightweight base titanium hardened with Citizen's proprietary Duratect surface treatment for high scratch resistance. Magnetic resistance is rated at 4,800 A/m, as engraved on the caseback.
[Functions]
Direct Flight disc-type world time: pull the crown and select a city code shown in the dial windows to switch local time instantly. Chronograph with sub-registers, 24-hour indicator, alarm with ALM-ON/OFF display, date window, signal reception indicator (NO/RX and H/M/L reception levels), summer time setting, and power save function.
[Case & Bracelet]
Black Duratect titanium case with a rose gold-tone fixed bezel, screw-set pushers, and a solid caseback engraved with the limited edition number. Water resistance is 100 m (10 bar). The catalog case diameter is 41 mm (1.61 in), measuring approximately 45.4 mm (1.79 in) across the case at its widest point excluding the crown. The black titanium bracelet is 20 mm (0.79 in) wide and closes with a fold-over clasp. As adjusted it fits wrists up to approximately 17.7 cm (7.0 in), and the 3 included spare links extend the fit to approximately 20.4 cm (8.0 in).
