Description

GBD sub-brand “Cockney”
Early London Made Model
Classic Big Saddle Bulldog
Sandblast, in Great Shape

Offering an early pipe called Cockney from GBD pipes, out of the London England plant. The model was introduced early on; this one is likely from the 1960’s-70’s. The word Cockney indicates a style of speech of workers from London. It’s a full-size saddle bit bulldog with a nicely cut vulcanite stem. The bowl has a sandblast finish, and looks very nicely made, smooth rim. The bowl condition is excellent, light wear, no issues. The interior is well seasoned, draw hole bottom center. Stem is original, good quality vulcanite and a hint of wear. It's freshly polished, draws easy, weighs in about 1.65 ounces, 46.7 grams, and ready to smoke.

Please see my other Auctions! Combined shipping of multiple items no problem, wait until auctions end to pay, and I’ll send a combined invoice! Additional cleaning may be desired on some pipes, as I focus on the exterior reconditioning and reaming, and leave the shank interior to the new owner, pipe stand not included with any pipe. Click photos BELOW to enlarge, and see more photos! Returns OK before you smoke any pipe.
