BRIAR 1920, STRAIGHT GRAIN!
Acrylic Ferrule and Paddle Bit
Still Unsmoked, Mint Condition

Offering a phenomenal looking Gasparini made pipe out of Italy, in a not-often-seen “LORD” model. It was a challenge to track down info to verify, but it appears the LORD model is from the 1970’s. Gasparini pipes are noted as having briar from 1912, but this-one-states 1920, and that’s still 106 years old! The company has been in existence for over 80 years, and they appear to me to be undervalued, in my experience, on eBay. This one is a beauty, as the bowl is stunning. Here’s a brief part of the info you can find on Pipedia: In 1938 Mario Gasparini, with his wife Ida, took his first steps into the world of the pipe. Today his daughter, Marisa Gasparini, sits at his desk; since 1977 Marisa and her husband, and now her daughter, carry on the tradition of her family.
The pipe is fresh and looks like it was just made yesterday, and is still unsmoked and pristine. The bowl features wonderful defined straight grain, high contrast, and the top rim is great looking natural plateau. The condition is mint, has not been smoked, and has no noted wear. The stem is original, made of a high-quality black acrylic. It has no wear and looks nicely cut, in fine condition. This one weighs in about 1.66 ounces, 47.0 grams. Freshly polished and is ready to smoke!

Please see my other Auctions! Combined shipping of multiple items no problem, wait until auctions end to pay, and I’ll send a combined invoice! Additional cleaning may be desired on some pipes, as I focus on the exterior reconditioning and reaming, and leave the shank interior to the new owner, pipe stand not included with any pipe. Click photos BELOW to enlarge, and see more photos! Returns OK before you smoke any pipe.
