Pair of Fine Hand Painted Japanese Baluster Vases with Silver Mounts - 6" Tall
The vases likely date from 1900 to 1940.
Hand painted in a beautiful and colorful floral pattern with raised gilt highlights and silver mounts. Stamped "Handpainted - Japan" on the underside and the silver mounts on each are marked "Sterling Silver"
The Height of the vases is approximately 6 inches.
The Width of the vases at their widest point is approximately 3 inches.
The vase are in good used condition with some minor dents in the silver mounts. Note that a good jeweler may be able to smooth the silver mounts if you can manage to remove them The body of the vases are also in good condition with some minor signs of wear and a small flea bite chip on the foot of one of the vases.
