This is a Japanese Kozuka sword fitting featuring a finely detailed camellia tree and bird design on a Shakudo Nanako-ji ground.
The camellia tree and small bird are rendered in detailed raised relief carving (Takaniku-bori).
The camellia leaves and bird feature gold-colored decoration, while the camellia flowers are accented with silver-colored inlay.
The feathers of the bird and details of the camellia leaves are finely executed, showcasing intricate traditional metalwork.
