Luxman D-112 Compact Disc Player in good vintage condition and fully tested.
This is a quality Japanese-made Luxman CD player from the late 1980s, with the classic slimline styling and solid build quality Luxman was known for during this era.
This unit has been fully serviced, with new drive belts fitted, the laser lens cleaned, sled rails cleaned and re-greased, and the mechanism lubricated where required. The tray and loading mechanism were also checked, cleaned and lubricated for smooth operation. Electrical checks were completed, key components were tested, and all audio outputs were checked to confirm correct operation.
Features include direct track access, programmable playback, repeat, track search, headphone output with adjustable level, analogue RCA outputs and coaxial digital output. It also has Luxman serial remote connections for use with compatible Luxman components.
It Has a High Resolution 16 Bit Over Sampling Digital Filter and is Made in Japan.
Cosmetically it is in good vintage condition overall. The front face presents quite well, but there are a number of light scratches, scuffs and marks across the top cover, along with some visible wear around the disc tray and front edge. Not a reason to not purchase. Nothing affects operation, but I’ve tried to show the condition clearly in the photos, so please have a good look as they form part of the description.
A really nice old-school Luxman player and a great match for a vintage hi-fi system. It also makes a very good CD transport thanks to the digital output.
