Archie Comics # 67 (March 1954)-Golden Age Classic!

Up for auction is a 100% complete, highly readable copy of Archie Comics #67 from 1954. This is a classic piece of Golden Age history. Please review the detailed condition report below before bidding. We estimate this book to be in the 1.0(Fair) to 1.5(Fair/Good) range due to structural cover wear, but it features an incredibly bright and supple interior that makes it a perfect placeholder or reading copy!

Detailed Condition Report:

Cover and Spine (Low Grade): 

• Cover Status: The front and back covers are fully detached from the interior.
• Front Cover: Colorful and bright with fair remaining original gloss. Features numerous 1/8" and one 1/4" tears on the bottom edge, three 1/2" to 3/4" creases on the bottom corner, 1 x 1/2" tear, a 1/4" x 1/8" chip, and a 1/8" chip on the outer edge, There are 1 x 1/4" and  numerous 1/8" tears on the upper edge, and scuffing on the lower outer cover. A large light stain is located on the inside of the cover (does not bleed through to the front art). 
• Tape Repairs: Vintage tape repairs are present on cover located on the outside edge, top and bottom of the spine; 
• Back Cover: Tears emanating from spine splits (3/4" and 1/4"), numerous  1/8" nicks along the top and bottom edges, a 3/4" tear, and a few small chips along the top edges.: 
• Interior (Excellent Condition For The Grade): 
• Completeness: 100% complete with no cutouts, no writing, and no filled in coupons.
• Page Quality: Pages are supple (not brittle)
• Eye Appeal: Story art remains bright and vibrant and print is sharp and clear. A highly readable comic!
• Note on Margins: Features tiny, era-accurate printer spur holes on some lower margins that have spread into 1/4" edge tears-these are a manufacturing defect of the 1950s printing process, not handler flaws.
