Fantastic vintage World War II British military motorcycle / dispatch riders coat, a wonderful original piece of military clothing designed specifically for motorcycle use.

 

The coat features side access openings so the wearer could reach the pockets of trousers or clothing underneath. It also has leg loops/straps designed to secure the coat around the legs while riding a motorcycle, helping keep the long coat in position. Complete with shoulder epaulettes, military-style hardware and period internal military markings/stamps.

 

Condition

Excellent condition for its age with no major damage or significant signs of wear. There are some rust-coloured marks to the back, as shown. Considering its age and intended military use, it has survived remarkably well.
