Autotune in Rishton Lancashire started making these in 1983 and gained Jaguar approval for their recreation. Designed to be built with a donor XJ6 they used to be affordable, but the XJ6 is now a classic car and not a scrap heap item.

The kit was bought from Autotune as a project for me, but now I have other priorities.  Finished cars fetch £10-20k.  I think altogether there is 90% of what is needed.  I am potentially able to offer a rebuilt and refurbished set of twin SU carbs also.

Kit is listed as containing the following - a full Autotune build manual is included. Everything from the kit is substantial and well engineered, 

1. Galvanised space frame chassis

2. Body, boot, bonnet and doors in black gelcoat - will need finishing as to your spec

3. 15 boxes of XJ6 donor parts

4. Jaguar rear subframe and axle / inboard brakes - will need refurbishment 

5. Front axle / suspension  

6. New dampers and coil springs

7. Wiring loom

8. Period style lighting

9. Bespoke fuel tank

10. XJ6 dials

11. 4.2 XK engine ( this is on sale as another listing and may sell ) will need refurbishment 

12. XJ6 3-Speed automatic gearbox and torque converter ( this is on sale as another listing and may sell ) will need refurbishment 

13. 4 x slave wheels for the build - will need refurbishment 

14. A full set of internal aluminium panels for the inside structure + rivets and bolts

15. Seats and spare leather ( this is on sale as another listing and may sell ) 

16. Front brakes - will need refurbishment.

Possible 1 tonne engine crane and 1 tonne 4 wheel trolley included at the asking price.

Happy to answer any questions.  The kit and parts will need a suitable lorry / low loader and 2-3 people to load.  Possibility of 2 trips needed, but kit can be broken down into parts. Will need a wind screen and wet weather gear / hood.
