Vintage Lewis Leathers No. 192 "Lined Motorway" Boots

Era: Late 1960s to 1970s premium British motorcycle boots under the Aviakit label.

Materials & Design: Supple black leather with a 42cm/ 43cm tall shaft, fully lined with plush, cream-colored natural sheep wool for winter insulation.

Hardware: Heavy-duty rear metal YKK zippers and three adjustable strap-and-buckle points at the ankle, mid-calf, and upper calf.

Soles: Original period-correct wrap-around metal iron toe plates and embedded horseshoe metal heel rings.

Sizing: Stamped Size E11A12 1/2 C45, fitting a modern Men's US 12.5 / UK 11 / EU 45. Designed with extra clearance to zipper comfortably over riding pants.

Item 2: Vintage Lewis Leathers "Dolomite" Gauntlet Gloves

Era: Matching late 1960s/1970s cold-weather touring gauntlet gloves.

Materials & Design: Heavy black leather featuring an extended flared forearm cuff, fully insulated with matching plush cream sheep wool lining.

Safety Feature: Iconic silver/grey retroreflective signaling stripe running down the center of each gauntlet forearm.

Hardware & Label: Adjustable wrist straps secured by solid brass snaps embossed with "ENGLISH MAKE". Includes the original script "Lewis Leathers" woven fabric care label sewn inside. The snaps are stamped “Hewey, England on the underside.

Some slight cracking on the tops of the gloves on both sides of the reflective tape. Zip closure on the boots work great. A great and rare duo! Excellent condition for the age.

The boot measure roughly 13” from hell to toe. Gloves measure roughly 6” from the widest part of palm (thumb included), measurement taken laying flat.
