This is the SSR620, an electric bass from the SSR series—a collaboration model between Ibanez and Shimamura Music.

It features the hallmarks of the SR series, such as a 3D arched body designed for a seamless fit against the player's body and an ultra-slim, highly contoured neck.

It is constructed with an ash body, a 5-piece Jatoba neck, and a rosewood fretboard.

The electronics feature Bartolini MK1 pickups paired with an original preamp.

In addition to a standard 3-band EQ, it offers a mid-frequency switch with two settings, allowing for a wide range of tonal shaping.

It delivers the punchy, articulate tone characteristic of ash, while the combination with Bartolini pickups produces a deep, powerful sound.

It is capable of producing a stable, versatile range of tones, spanning from traditional fingerstyle sounds to modern slap styles.

The slim neck profile makes it easy to grip, even for players with smaller hands,

making this a mid-range SR series bass suitable for players of all levels, from beginners to advanced musicians.

There is some scuffing on the body finish between the neck and bridge pickups.

While there are minor signs of use—such as scratches and small dings—there is no major damage, and the instrument is in good overall condition.

The neck is nearly straight, and there is plenty of room left in the truss rod. Fret life remains at approximately 70–80%.

String height at the 12th fret (1st to 6th strings): Approx. 2.0–2.5 mm.

It has been thoroughly serviced, so you can play with confidence.
