Back Story: I bought this 300 piece HO Brass collection from a widow whose husband has passed. He loved his trains and painted them in his own way. He was not a professional painter as you will see from the pictures. The freight cars, passenger cars and locomotives were either spray painted in blue, green, deep red, red, silver or yellow. Decals were added, but not to the correct road names, sometimes two different road names, one different on each side, but this is what he liked. Some of the first pieces were done okay, at least removing or adding the trucks later, but as he went on, he just painted everything, including the power trucks on the locos, or the wheels themselves. Please judge by yourself, to have a nice brass piece, you will need to remove and or strip the paint off. None of the locomotives will run without doing that. Hopefully you find something you need and just figure it will be a nice piece once you take the time to work on it.
