Steering wheel for the Mercedes Gullwing, W198 300SL Coupe


  • Steering wheel: Used steering wheel. One of the 1,400 steering wheels delivered in a Gullwing model. Signs of use were worked out in 2 paint jobs in the original color. So no signs of use or storage. The folding steering wheel of the W198 Coupe was always painted in ivory, not like in the 300sl Roadster or 190sl, in which solid-colored plastic was used. The chrome brackets have been re-chromed perfectly flawlessly.

Also ideal as an investment, as it is not a reproduction, but an old original, from one of the 1,400 copies delivered.

Steering wheels: Old goods in good condition, usually due to longer storage and selection
Advantage: Original old goods in very good condition, no tearing, cheaper than NOS
Disadvantage: Possibly slight signs of wear

Plastic re-cast: The old plastic was completely removed and replaced with new one. Through this
