This lead fits a Game Boy Micro only, so please check your console before ordering. It is also a 12V car adaptor, not a USB charger, and the retail card is shelf-worn after twenty years.
Product Overview
A 12V car charger for the Game Boy Micro. This is the Dragon "Car-Lighter Multi Converter": it plugs into a cigarette-lighter socket, and its lead ends in the flat charge plug made for a Game Boy Micro. A blue light in the body shows when it is powered.
The reason to pick this one over a plain charger is on the back of it. Most cars have a single 12V socket, and a games charger normally takes it for the whole trip. This unit has a second 12V socket moulded into its own body, so whatever was using that outlet — a phone adaptor, a dash camera, a tyre pump — can go straight back in while the console charges. The lead is generous enough to reach from the front socket to a back seat.
About the condition: this is old stock. The chargers are unused, but the cards they are attached to are around twenty years old and have aged on a shelf — shelf-worn, with a yellowed tinge and light scuffing. We have photographed them exactly as they are rather than tidying them up, so what you see in the pictures is what arrives. They were made in the mid-2000s when the Micro was current, and there will be no more of them once they are gone.
