Copyright page states “Published January, 1934,” making this an early original copy of the textbook. An interesting piece of pre-WWII science and chemistry education history with period laboratory experiments and instructional material.

Book is in well-used vintage condition. The black hardcover shows considerable edge and corner wear, rubbing, scuffs and wear along the spine. Pages have age toning, spotting and staining. There is substantial pencil/crayon writing and scribbling on several of the front pages/endpapers, along with a previous owner’s name. Page edges are heavily toned from age. Binding remains intact.
