Vintage c1940s Shell Double Shell SAE 30 1 Quart
Motor Oil Tin
Original Australian petroliana collectible dating from approximately the late 1930s to early 1940s.
The rectangular tin features the classic red-and-yellow Shell colour scheme, early scallop-shell emblems and the period advertising slogans:

(Incorporated in Great Britain)
The lower edge is also marked “Dom. Can. Melb.”, indicating that the container was manufactured in Melbourne by Dominion Can.
This is an authentic, heavily patinated garage-display piece—not a modern reproduction. Its weathered finish gives it considerable character for a Shell, motoring, service-station or Australian advertising collection.
Sold as a vintage display collectible only. Any remaining residue, odour or contents should not be used.
