This auction is for an antique medical glass syringe with a cork stopper to the barrel and thread to the bottom of the plunger. I understand that these characteristics probably date the item to the 1870s.

The medium to large size of the syringe suggests that it was probably used by a physician for flushing cavities or ears.

The tactile, original handmade turned treen box has helped to preserve the glass syringe.

Please take time to view all of the photographs and also please read the item specifics,  ited description and condition report. before placing a bid. Thank you.
