This set of four items comes from the former collection of a renowned folk toy enthusiast. Given that the figures consist of a red-faced warrior and a white-faced warrior (both wearing *tokin* headgear), a blue *oni* (demon), and a flesh-colored *oni*, they were likely created to depict the legend of the subjugation of Shuten-dōji at Mount Ōe. Specifically, the red-faced warrior is likely Sakata no Kintoki (Kintarō), while the white-faced warrior is likely Minamoto no Yorimitsu or one of his Four Guardian Kings.Antique *Bunya* puppet figures intended as toys rarely appear on the market and are considered valuable as folk artifacts; therefore, we look forward to bids from those who appreciate their significance.Dimensions (total length from the top of the head to the tip of the mounting skewer): Kintoki 23.5 cm; Yorimitsu (?) 22.5 cm; blue *oni* 20.5 cm; flesh-colored *oni* 20.5 cm.*As these are antique items, they show signs of wear and deterioration consistent with their age.
