Ergonomics redefined in a tangible way

With the ERGO RT, we are using a new, technically and aesthetically innovative principle for the first time to raise the handlebars on the BMW R 1300 RT. It can be combined with both the forged handlebar and the tubular handlebar.

New innovative design principle: Unlike conventional solutions in which the riser is part of the tubular handlebar clamp, this handlebar riser is based on an independent concept protected by utility model rights

The objective was a harmoniously integrated and technically elegant solution that blends discreetly into the overall cockpit design of Telelever BMWs

The handlebar bridge features two precisely defined mounting points:

at the upper end of the steering head and

further forward, on a formed sheet metal component connected to the Telelever suspension

This is exactly where we position two precisely manufactured columns made of high-strength aluminium

Each column measures 25 millimetres and raises the handlebar bridge by exactly 25 millimetres

The riser is structurally discreet, technically sophisticated and perfectly integrated from an aesthetic point of view.
