Description

Vintage Whitall Tatum and Co. hand-blown glass museum specimen jar. Hand-blown with ground top with pontil mark on bottom. The glass has some natural imperfections including a few small bubbles,straw marks and slight waviness in the sides of the glass some of which are shown in the last 2 photos.The lid of the jar reads WHITALL.TATUM & Co PHILADELPHIA NEW YORK and PAT. JUNE 11TH 1895. The lid also has two small hooks from which the specimens could have been suspended. Both the jar and lid have no chips, cracks, clouding or damage.This jar includes the metal screw clamp to hold down the lid of the jar. The jar measures 4-1/4" tall without the lid and is 2 1/2" across the base. There are a total of 19 pictures included. Please email with any questions.

Shipping

 Because of lost and damaged items most overseas and Canadian items will now be shipped using eBays International Shipping Program.
 
LARGE items within the U.S. are USUALLY shipped UPS ground but Very heavy or odd sized items can be brought to my local Fastenal store for shipping to your local Fastenal store for your pickup. 
Shipping charges quoted in listing are for the contiguous U.S. only. Shipping to other locations will be extra. 
Also please be aware that UPS & the U.S.P.S increase shipping costs every year and they no longer use the actual weight of the package. Instead they have opted to use  dimensional weight calculations. I will make every attempt to ship items the most economical way possible. I do not make money on shipping and will make every effort to make shipping as reasonable as possible.
