Beautiful novelty silver snuff box in the form of a table, Hanau or Dutch maker marks imported into London in 1901. 18th century manner with cabriole legs, the table top repousse decorated with a horse drawn sleigh in a winter landscape. Remnants of gold wash decoration to the interior.
Marks: Continental marks with 930 grade stamped (higher than 925 sterling); import sponsor ETB (Edwin Thompson Bryant); lion silver mark; date letter f for the eyar 1901; F foreign import stamp; London assay office stamp.
Dimensions: approx 3¼ inches long.

Overall excellent condition.
