I was hired to liquidate an estate out here on the east end of Long Island, New York. One of the couple collected musical instruments and the other is a listed abstract artist. I have a few other instruments (a 1975 Martin D 12-35 12 string acoustic, a Warren May dulcimer, a Baldwin ODE banjo and a 2010 Fender Strat) that I will be listing in separate listings after I have they are assessed by my friend who is a luthier. 

This listing is for the instrument, which is in exceptional condition, shown in the photos above. It was built by Terry McCafferty in collaboration with Stephen Seifert, an American folk musician and virtuoso Appalachian dulcimer player, model number FH3S258R164. I don't see anything wrong with it. I plugged it into a Fender Mustang II amp and it sounded great. This, I believe,  is their top of the line model with all of the bells and whistles- radiused neck, inlay and the top is old-growth sinker redwood with the sides and back curly cherry. I don't know the arrangement of the pickups. The label says it was made in January of 2024, serial number 807. See photos of the label for other information.
