Description
This work is a silkscreen print titled “Bojō” by Hiro Yamagata (Hiromichi Yamagata).

Set against an urban landscape reminiscent of the Place de la Concorde in Paris, the composition features vividly colored airships and balloons, cyclists, and numerous figures. The combination of historic city architecture with imaginative motifs creates a playful and distinctive scene characteristic of Hiro Yamagata’s work.

The work is notable for its meticulously rendered figures and vehicles, vibrant colors, and humorous, narrative-like composition, offering intricate details to enjoy throughout the entire image.

The lower right of the image bears the artist’s hand-signed pencil signature, while the edition number appears at the lower left. The words “TOHOKU MY HEART” can also be seen in the margin. Editions of this same work bearing the “TOHOKU MY HEART” message have also been documented in Japan.
