About this set

A complete genuine Vikan washing setup built for vehicles that are too big to reach over. The 370mm brush head is a serious working width — it covers a lorry side or a coach panel in far fewer passes than a domestic wash brush — and the telescopic handle extends to around 9 feet, so roofs, high sides and trailer tops are reachable while you keep both feet on the ground. The head has soft/split filaments rather than solid bristles, which means it holds a great deal more water and shampoo — you get more washing done between trips to the bucket, and the extra solution on the panel is what keeps grit moving rather than grinding. There is a rubberised bumper around the block too, so a knock against a mirror, a door edge or a wheel arch does not leave a mark on the paint.

💧 Dip and wash — worth knowing before you order
This set is designed for the dip and wash method — brush into the bucket, wash the panel, back to the bucket. The soft/split filaments hold a lot of solution, so it works very well that way. The handle in this set is not water fed, so there is no hose connection through the pole. If you specifically want water running through to the head, message us — the same brush fits Vikan’s water fed handles and we can put that combination together for you instead.
💡 Washing safely at full extension
Rinse the vehicle down first — any brush is only as safe as the surface you put it on, so shift the loose grit with the hose before the filaments touch the paint. Rinse the brush out regularly so it is not holding grit from the last panel. Only extend the handle as far as the job needs — at nine feet the pole becomes a lever and a wet brush head feels considerably heavier. Work top to bottom, and rinse the head before you go near the lower panels where the worst of the road film sits. Suitable for use with chemicals between pH 3 and 11.
