AUTHENTIC HERMÈS PARIS “À PROPOS DE BOTTES” SILK SCARF
Beautiful classic Hermès “À Propos de Bottes” silk scarf, designed by renowned equestrian artist Xavier de Poret.
The design is an artistic study of riding boots and equestrian equipment, featuring numerous beautifully illustrated boots, riding accessories, ropes and a mounted horseman. The design was originally introduced in 1962 and has been reissued in different versions.
This example has a beautiful cream/ivory background with predominantly blue, brown and gold illustrations.
DETAILS
Hermès currently lists the heritage “A propos de Bottes” as a 90 × 90 cm silk twill scarf designed by Xavier de Poret.
Pre-owned condition.
The scarf shows significant creasing/wrinkling from storage and previous use. Please see all photographs carefully.
The silk artwork remains visible and detailed. The supplied photographs should be considered part of the condition description.
I would not describe this as mint, excellent, or pristine condition based on the photos.
There are also visible signs of wear/age that should be carefully evaluated from the photographs before purchase.
