c1800 Chinese Yixing Silver Mounted Purple Clay Crysanthemum Teapot

A rare and very beautiful Chinese Yixing purple clay 'Chrysanthemum' teapot and cover with silver mounts*
A wonderful piece in good original unrestored used antique condition commensurate with age and nature of item
Expect marks, tarnish, old accrued dust dirt grime, patina to the clay, nibbles to tip of spout, surface wear to base, loss of some of the original silver work but this does not detract from the overall appearance
A fabulous collectable piece that will display well alone or as part of a larger collection
Stands approx 11cm tall, base to top of finial on lid
