Vintage Famous Artists Course art instruction lesson set from Famous Artists Schools, Westport, Connecticut. Includes six original course binders/books covering lessons 1–24, with four hardcover-style binders in blue, yellow, red, and gray, plus two earlier ring-bound sections. Course materials feature illustrated lessons covering drawing fundamentals including form, figure drawing, composition, draperies and costumes, observation, and other classic art techniques. Pages contain numerous black-and-white illustrations, photographs, diagrams, and instructional text. A wonderful piece of mid-century art education history and a great collectible for artists, illustrators, or vintage ephemera collectors.

Vintage pre-owned condition with significant age-related wear. Covers show scuffing, edge and corner wear, discoloration, marks, and surface wear. Pages have toning/yellowing consistent with age. The two ring-bound sections show heavier wear, including worn/torn page edges and covers. Metal rings show age and use.
