Vintage German autoharp, with rose decoration and 12 chord bars. The back is marked MADE IN GERMANY, so presumably it was made before the Second World War, when Germany was partitioned. I cannot see a maker's name.
I am totally unmusical, and I have no idea how to tune it or play it properly. It is an interesting and collectable item, but I cannot judge how hard it would be to restore it to its original musical condition. It makes a nice sound when strummed. It needs to be cleaned - there are marks from storage, as you can see, and there is also quite a lot of dust underneath the chord bars.
