What it changes
- It does not interfere with fitting the 12-litre JDM Spec C water tank.
- Designed for sedan-bodied vehicles.
- The KEIN Rear X Brace is designed to increase rear chassis stiffness in the 2002–2007 Impreza.
- It achieves this by triangulating to the center tunnel, transforming the large hole behind the rear seat into a rigid truss structure.
- The stiffer rear end sharpens transitional response and gives the car a more solid feel—noticeable even during normal driving.
- Additionally, it remains possible to install the JDM Spec C 12L Water Tank.
- Note: Does not fit Wagon GG Series models.
Build
- The brace behind the rear seat fits the factory locations in the boot opening and turns it into a rigid truss.
- All the necessary hardware is included in the kit.
- Installation requires no drilling or cutting!
- Bolts with a strength of approximately 50 kN.

VAT and import charges
These parts are dispatched from Dubai, United Arab Emirates — that is, from outside both the UK and the EU.
Consignments valued at £135 or less. The £135 threshold applies to the total value of the consignment, not to what you pay for a single item. For such consignments eBay charges UK VAT at checkout and accounts for it to HMRC. This applies to deliveries to Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) and, because the goods come from outside the UK and the EU, to deliveries to Northern Ireland as well.
Consignments valued at more than £135. No VAT is charged at checkout. Import VAT and any customs duty are collected at the UK border, and the carrier will ask you to pay them before the parcel is delivered; it may also charge a clearance fee of its own.
