This is a vintage 1964 Barbie Side Part Bubble Cut, described as a rare European Barbie originally sold in the European and Canadian markets. The Side Part Bubble Cut is highly sought after by vintage Barbie collectors for its distinctive original side-part rooting pattern and elaborate, dimensional curls.

A key identifying feature of the genuine Side Part version is the special zigzag rooting pattern along the side part. The hairstyle has been preserved with its characteristic structured curls and volume.

The face paint is original with no restoration. The lips show the characteristic fading known as the "white lip" phenomenon, while the original coral-pink nail and toenail paint remains in good condition.

The head has become slightly darker due to age and UV exposure. It has intentionally not been cleaned in order to preserve its current vintage condition.
