Designed by Charles Noke, Royal Doulton’s first art director and creator of many of the company’s most sought‑after Prestige pieces.

This impressive hand‑finished sculpture features a powerful lion standing on a rocky base, rendered with the detailed modeling and rich glaze work characteristic of the Prestige line.

Clean, well‑preserved glaze with excellent color Markings (on underside) Royal Doulton stamp HN 2641 model number

Artist/decorator initials: J.C.

(Initials vary by painter; this is normal for hand‑finished Prestige pieces.) also sign on the underside edge SOURBERI. Inc 4 –8 –1972.
