Antique Beaded Buckskin Leather Bag Native American Hand-Made

Authentic, one-of-a-kind piece. Based on the design style it appears to be from the Cree or Métis tribes of Canada.

Possibly used as a tobacco pouch or medicine bag. It appears to have had an interior lining but that has been removed at some point, revealing the interior threads from the beading (See picture).

Very old item, mid to late 1800s. Bag size 11.5" H x 7" W. Fringe length is 6."

Made from tanned buckskin hide with large, nicely beaded front/back designs, backside pocket, hide fringes and drawstring cinch closure.
