Valve guides sit inside the piston assembly to prevent the piston from rotating, keeping the ports precisely aligned with the trumpet’s tubing.

While many modern instruments utilize plastic or nylon guides for quiet operation, these solid brass guides offer distinct advantages:

I visited the Benge factory and received lots of parts and also bought a lot of Benge parts in the 70’s.
