Offered is a vintage framed reproduction of Point Sur, Storm, Monterey Coast, California, one of Ansel Adams’s memorable photographs of the rugged California coastline.

The original photograph by Ansel Adams (1902–1984) dates to approximately 1946. The dramatic composition shows the Pacific surf breaking along the Big Sur/Point Sur coastline, with the rugged shoreline in the foreground and the distinctive Point Sur landform appearing through the coastal haze in the distance.

This is a particularly beautiful example of Adams’s California coastal photography, with the strong contrast between the dark cliffs, luminous breaking waves and atmospheric background.

The photograph is presented in a handsome black frame with a dark brown/charcoal mat. The mat is printed:
