Demon Studio was founded on Naderi Avenue in Tehran, Iran, during the 1940s by Armenian artist R. Arthur Hayrapetian. Active throughout the 1940s and 1950s, the studio employed skilled Armenian watercolorists who produced fine character portraits, street scenes, and studies of everyday Iranian life.
