Description:

Vintage Southwestern / Western-style bolo tie slide featuring a large raised cowboy-on-horse design with decorative scrollwork, stamped border decoration and two stone cabochons.

The piece measures approximately 2.5 inches long × 2 inches wide at its largest dimensions and weighs approximately 55 grams.

The front features a highly dimensional horse and rider design over a dark recessed background. Decorative silver-coloured wire scrollwork surrounds the central design.

Two cabochons are present:

• One irregular blue/green stone with dark matrix, visually consistent with the appearance of turquoise
• One polished red/orange cabochon, visually consistent with the appearance of coral used in Southwestern-style jewelry

IMPORTANT STONE DISCLOSURE: Neither stone has been professionally tested or identified. The blue stone is NOT being guaranteed as natural turquoise, and the red stone is NOT being guaranteed as natural coral. They may be natural, treated, reconstructed, synthetic, glass or another material.

The metal is silver-coloured throughout the visible surfaces. The item was tested at home with a magnet and was not attracted to the magnet.

IMPORTANT METAL DISCLOSURE: No visible “Sterling,” “925” or other silver purity hallmark has been located. The item has NOT been professionally acid tested, electronically tested or XRF tested. It is therefore being sold as unknown silver-coloured metal, and NOT as confirmed sterling silver. The non-magnetic result does not establish silver content.
