The Hours of Jeanne d'Evreux (HB, 1973) published by the Metropolitan Museum of Art is clean with unmarked pages and little wear or tear on the front and back covers. The only fault is the front cover tore from the binding but is held in place with two-sided tape.
This small reprint from the Met illustrates the Gothic manuscript created between 1324 and 1328 by Parisian artist Jean Pucelle as a commissioned gift for Jeanne d'Evreux, Queen of France, wife of King Charles IV. This book of hours served as a guide for her personal daily prayers. Today, it resides in the permanent collection of the Met Cloisters in New York City, NY.
