New Lionel American Flyer 758 Sam the Semaphore Man animated model railroad accessory. Manufacturer SKU 6 49820. This Lionel era reproduction recreates the classic American Flyer operating accessory and features Sam emerging from his trackside shack while the semaphore signal operates and the train is stopped. Pressing the appropriate control returns Sam to the shack and allows the train to continue.

The accessory features metal construction, an animated Sam figure, an operating semaphore signal, and remote controlled operation. Designed for American Flyer S Gauge layouts. The original packaging also states compatibility with Lionel O Gauge.

This is the later Lionel production version of the classic American Flyer 758 design and should not be represented as an original 1949 Gilbert production accessory. Lionel lists SKU 6 49820 in its 2008 catalog information.
