Vintage - Clockwork Peek-a-Boo Puppy in Basket - Alps Toys/Max Carl - Fully Working.

Lovely example of an uncommon Puppy Toy that pops up & spins around before popping down again.

Early version with Printed paper on card basket, on later versions the basket was made of plastic.

Clockwork mechanism with cardboard basket, plush fur puppy.

Unbranded so not certain of make, some sites suggest Max Carl of Germany whilst others state Alps Toys of Japan.

Approximate dimensions; 11-12 cm high.

Condition report; Good Vintage Working condition. One side of handle is lacking fixing, wear to paper basket covering otherwise a nice example of a Rare early toy. Circa 1940/50's

All wear commensurate with age.
